Talent’s Manifesto at Milan Design Week
MyWorld, Philippe Starck’s last project for Cassina is a living system, rather than a couch, adaptable to everyone specific needs, introducing itself as a life experience where to relax, conversate, invite, make love, work and connect. It is composed of a variety of pieces that can be grouped and integrated with other complements. Wooden elements are in natural durmast, rosewood or lacqued in various colors, while cushions, where the visible stitching defines an elegant line of the sitting zone, are available in Cassina’s high quality selection of textiles and leathers, in addition to a special edition of 100% natural leather. MyWorld furthermore offers a total freedom that put aside relax with work and technology. Infact it has an electric charging station with USB socket and wifi router, all hidden in the container-box, in a very contemporary conception of what is relax nowadays, and of the multitasking that our everyday activities need.
Talent’s Manifesto is a project for Milan Design Week promoted by Designspeaking - at Daal Gallery in Lambrate, a brand new concept store is created to promote young talents and start-up of design world, placing side by side “icon pieces” with young designer’s products.
