Easy Styling

I hate boring interiors. And I am convinced that it is not expensive furniture that makes rooms look and feel stylish. Sometimes it is enough to add one interesting design item to completely change the look of a room. Or two :) - like in this one below:

Handcrafted pieces always add character (source: Elle DECOR)

But what is most important - select pieces that reflect how you live, what you value, and the atmosphere you wish to create. And combine them tastefully - a showcase of your favorite collections could be a great way to create this stylish loook, even in the kitchen/dining room:

Paints can be the easiest way to make an architectural element more interesting or add colorful accent to a simple interior:

More decorating ideas in my post.

One of my favorite ways to easily renovate a room and add your style is wallpaper. In this project
I used bamboo wallpaper to define the dinig area and color glass for the kitchen door - that was the desire of the owner:

Working with a trusted design expert can help you to implement your ideas, avoid mistakes and get more inspiration.

What are your ways and ideas?

Inspiration for a beautiful home

Sometimes I find things for the home that I want to share - just as an inspiration :) Like this beautiful lamp, but also the whole setting:

Or  this unexpected color scheme for an elegant kitchen - how do you like it?

And something for your new bathroom:

Interior Design Ideas and Inspiration by Studio TemZaDesign

Bespoke furniture design makes perfect use of space:

and awkward architectural elements like this column in a beautiful seaside apartment:

I like neutral palette, but to avoid dull interior design solutions I like to use at least one bright accent like these beautiful tiles in a definitely man-style kitchen:

I like the way they connect with the bright streaks in the countertop:

Customization is important part of my work as owner of Studio TemZaDesign. My aim always is to create interiors tailored to client lifestyle and budget. Like this small apartment design with beautiful details and smart space optimization:

"The idea of contemporary living"

Contemporary design has a lot of creations that give us joy and inspiration, in addition to the obligatory comfort. If you are looking for something different from traditional forms and designs, such that can better create your individual style, have a look at my collection of home products that I find quite inspiring and would be happy to use in my interior design projects:

I am impressed with these new options for the kitchen - Hi-tech material composed of two sheets of alluminium bonded with an extruded polyethylene core and treated with a special protective matt finish catalyzed in a kiln:

Unexpected design Solutions

They  can be a result of lack of other possibilities or a genius solution of a problem, a beautiful use of material for unexpected purpose, etc. Still, they are a great inspiration and can create unique interiors. Enjoy and share your thoughts:

My Perfect Interior for the day

I am starting a series of posts with inspirational photos of perfect or dream interiors that I find on the web. This is definitely one of them - a perfect area for cozy and elegant family dining, meeting with friends, even work:

Midj, Italy

These are some of my favorite pieces of furniture from Supersalone that impressed me with my first visit there last September. I like the elegant lines, quality materials and, I am sure, great comfort... The perfect example of modern luxury. What do you think?

Let's make handwashing more pleasant!

"If all else fails, something tells me most of us will be paying even closer attention to the design of sinks and vanities in residential, hospitality and retail projects for years to come."
wrote Yellowtrace and published a lot of inspiring ideas for bathrooms. So much agree! It is hard to choose from the numerous beautifil bathrooms, but I am posting the two I like most:

Inspirations from Stockholm Design Week

Fredrik Färg and Emma Marga Blanche have stolen the attention at this year's edition of Stockholm Design Week with their exhibition in a beautiful house - "The Baker's House", which appeared to the Emma's grand father's house, and the unusual lamps designs:

A Touch of Luxury - Onyx

Onyx is one of my favourite materials for interior design projects - it is not only beautiful, it has softness and it is translusant, and that creates a feeling of a 3D effect. Enjoy some of my latest findings:

But even with this beautiful material it is possible to overdo things. I have seen a lot of such examples. Just make sure that when using onyx you leave it the only accent - it deserves to be the central piece in any interior project.

Interior Design Trends for 2019 - Part 1: Materials

It is always interesting to know what is coming - in life in general, but also in our professional life, too. Interior design is an inspiring profession - we create the spaces we live, work and entertain in and we do our best to make them in such a way that everything there is much easier, more beautiful and fun to use. And that is a good reason to look for inspiration in the coming new trends and be informed for the best possibilities we can offer to our clients.
So, I expect that part of the trends that will be popular in the coming 2019 are based on classic, well-known materials and ideas and many other - on the new materials and ideas that we have discovered this year.

Brass is one of the materials that we rediscovered in the past few years and especially its new applications and, like copper earlier, we are going to use it more extensively in our interior design projects.

Porcelain stoneware can now look like real onyx! And like other natural stones, too. My favourite is ULTRA ONICI:

"The extremely reduced 6mm thickness, together with the advanced Ultra technology, allows an appropriately powerful band of light to travel through the Onice Ultra slabs and backlight the material."!!!‎ source: archiproducts.com
From the earlier discoveries in the field of interior design materials, I expect that we are going to continue to use extensively the terrazzo and discover more ways to do that.
And another one, very suitable especially for the cold winter days, is plush mohair velvet - it is one of the new materials that Tom Dixon studio  introduced in their production line this year along with high-textured materials like hand tufted wool:
