Milan Design Week 2026 - Some Preliminary Inspiration

Enjoy some beautiful new designs coming to Salone del Mobile next week :)

The office as a stage: NII presents its vision for the future of work at Salone del Mobile

 Vitreon Steel bonds steel and glaze at high temperatures to create a single composite, producing wonderfully thin walls – between 1.5 and 3mm – that are light but also tough to scratch, stain or discolour.

Cassina reimagines a 1980 concept by the late Gaetano Pesce as sinuous outdoor seating, created in flexible polyurethane foam coated with a thin elastomeric layer. Dubbed Dalila, the chair is offered in two versions — one with armrests and one without — and takes inspiration from the parable of Samson and Delilah. (Hair not included.)
