Celebrity Bathrooms from ELLE Decor

ELLE Decor have published an article about the bathrooms of several well-known people with links to their homes pictures. An interesting thing to see, but also another reason to tell oneself how difficult it must be to be a celebrity - first, this is a peek inside one of the most private rooms and concequently - in your private life; second, it shows something about their attitide to design, even if they are not closely related to design, like  Ralph Lauren, for example. His family Manhattan master bath has all the virtues of a professional work.

I like also " the easy-breezy master bath in Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s Hamptons retreat" - its design is most appropriate for a beach getaway, but master bath for actress Ellen Pompeo’s Hollywood Hills home that is supposed to exudes rustic elegance is nothing more than a strange collection of items that do not show the expected austerity and genuineness of the style.

It was interesting for me to see also the serene master bath in filmmaker Michael Bay’s Miami Beach home- it does look like a good set design:

But you should also see the master bedroom, where a backlit wall of onyx partially conceals the bath:
Now that is a quality interior design which do not only aim to show luxury, but to use luxury as way of good living. This bedroom is warm and cozy, well thought and organized and makes the best use of luxury materials while exuding serenity and comfort. Good work of interior designer Lynda Murray.
