Created by Janne Kyttanen - a Finnish designer and conceptual artist, best known for his pioneering work with design for 3D printing, it unifies the most important trends in design for the last several years:
- the copper trend: it is coated in high polish copper and chrome;
- 3D printing:  it is the largest and most complex end use product ever made using a 3D Systems ProX 950, one of the largest format 3D printers available today (MOCO LOCO).
And weighing in at only 2.5 kilos, it is so practical and elegant!

Urban Rough Luxury

Style and comfort - that is in two words the description of this charming eclectic modern loft. But I cannot stop thinking also of the popular in the last sevral years Rough Lux trend. Still, it is very modern and elegant with tastefully chosen bold accents all of which have definite practical function:

You see how well-thought is every small detail and how well used is the available space and its characteristics:
I saw this loft at Desire to inspire where the designers of the loft,The New Design Project, are described as "an Anglo-French husband and wife team of ex-bankers?"  - I wish all bankers had this attitude to design :) The truth is that  Fanny Abbes, the female part of the team is A graduate of New York City's renowned Parsons School of Design.

I am so impressed by the clever use of diverse elements and their perfect coordination - I would love to live there. The space is light, cozy, warm and modern.

High Design by Masters

It is always interesting to look inside the homes of celebrities, but for me - and may be for you, too - its is even more interesting to look inside the homes of the masters of interior design who know very well how to do it. I am curious to see their choices, but also I am eager to see their approach and borrow ideas. Get inspired from some of the pictures that photographer Leslie Williamson published in new book, “Modern Originals: At Home With Midcentury European Designers” and shared by T Magazine:
