One of the trends that emerged last copule of years and I expect it to become stable is
the feeling of wellness - we, as designers, often see the desire of clients to have this atmosphere from the spas and luxury hotels at their homes. Probably we all would like to have there spaces and products which sync with us emotionally and physically.
One of the ways to achieve this is the
increased use of plush sumptuous fabrics - we saw it at Milan Design Week 2018 and Maison et Objet in January and I expect to see it in September, too at the coming
London Design Festival and M&O.
