The villa is situated at the French Riviera city of Nice and everything about it is conceived by Matali Crasset — the cantilevered architecture in concrete, aluminum, and glass, the green hexagonal lounge beds alongside the swimming pool, the colourful interior design that is very characteristic of her famous style.
Something that I especially like is this pink resin coating of the floor on the lower level:
It complements perfectly the grey of the concrete stairs and of the sofas and matches the bright colourful spots elsewhere:

Matali Crasset was guest to Sofia Design Week 2011 with an inspiring lecture and was very kind to give me a very long and interesting interview, published in Nash Dom magazine.
