Inspiring summer home decor - at reduced prices!

The most easy way to create summer mood at home is to change bedding and some of the other textiles in the interior with vibrant colorful pieces that evoke turquoise water and feeling of joy and freedom of spirit like we do feel on vacation.
I just found this elegant Lilly Pulitzer® "Juice Stand" Set at Rue La La - the destination for 2-day-only Boutiques, filled with the designers we love at private sale prices.

It's free, fabulous, and invitation-only. Here's your invitation! My favorites are this "Buckets of Goodies" Rug and this Lilly of the Valley" Sheet Set (below)!
Great for your summer home!

But if you are looking for something more grown-up and elegant - here is one suggestion: a beautiful bedroom with green walls, turquoise and white "Treasure Chest" Quilt on white bed and floor. Very fresh!

Design Miami / Basel - a glimpse

I like copper - it is soft and cozy, quite unlike metals, its beautiful and warm very specific pink/beige color glows better than gold. And I like what polish designer OscarZ ieta
has achieved with his latest collection 'Zieta limited" with FIDU technology (free inside pressure forming).
Accompanying the chair is a table designed collaboratively by german architect and cabinet makerLutz Huening and Oskar Zieta.

One can easily bring bright colors of the summer at home with beautiful pieces like this Terracotta Double Handled Pot by tag®. Great for multiple uses- planter, ice bucket, vase for flowers, decor...

Ikat Inspired Decoration

Ikat patterns seem to be in vogue again this year. I can understand that - they bring summer mood and they are fresh and elegant both - at home and on your fashion accessories.
Ikat is a dying pattern (similar to tie dye) that originated in southeast Asia. Here are some beautiful new inspirations from traditional ikats:

Ikat Spice Pillow - 16" x 16" - Grandin Road, 16" x 16" - this pillow is probably  one of my favorites!
