Тhis year’s ‪‎Das Haus‬ at imm Cologne…

is one of the most sensible and well-designed, according to me. I think that sebastian Herkner is an example of the optimistic expectations that we can have about the new generation of product and interior designers that is coming.

I like the idea that the home should be 'a free living space: 'There are no boundaries, no barriers, no corners on which one can bump into or hide behind,' he explains.

IMM Cologne 2016 starts next Monday

Each year, IMM Cologne is the first event to present the latest home trends that will probably be confirmed at Maison et Objet in Paris next week, too, and in Milan in April. This year it takes place from January 18-24. Let's have a preview at some of the products that will be presented there.

"The "Best of Best" 2016 award-winning products, including TRIO from COR, will be announced on 17 January 2016 at an award ceremony featuring the presentation of A&W Designer of the Year award from the magazine Architektur & Wohnen." (source)
You can see that obviously the popular and trendy copper hues are continuing to be in vogue.

And another trend - The Open kitchen, designed by Piero Lissoni for Boffi - a sponsor for 'Das Haus' during the imm cologne 2016, and showing for the first time its products at the Furniture Fair in Cologne.
