Great design from IMM Cologne

And as a symbol of great design and craftsmanship, as well as a symbol of the continuing trend for more and more use of wood in modern furniture design I want to to show you one of my favourite new designs from the fair:

Beautiful! And equally beautiful are the two ther products from the Wafer Collection by Claesson Koivisto Rune for the Matsuso T range - a bookshelf that doubles up as a room divider and a small side table:

Cut from solid light maple and dark walnut woods using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) technology and hand finished, the three items in the Wafer Collection are example of masterful design and implementation.

I definitely would love to have them at home! Especially the chair!
