We have already seen the floating - or levitating - bed by Lago, The New Levitating Lamp, and different other real or illusionary forms of Levitation in Design. They all have one thing in common - the impression of more free space. And that is the main purpose we use this approach in interior design. I have posted about the use of floating furniture, but another way to enlarge visually small spaces is by using glass as a supportive base for furniture. This is not usually applied in kitchens and Linee kitchen by Team 7 is a great example of this approach:
