It is clear that fashion is often a source of inspiration for interior design, but now we can see how a furniture designer (again - because we saw Patricia Urquiola's designs earlier) designs shoes:

They have teamed up for creating a "collection of limited edition footwear which is inspired and pays homage to the of wondrously curious squirrel." (source)
But Tord Boontje's new work in the field of fashion contains also a collection named Cherry Pip jewellery, made from Swarovski crystals and cherry pips from Boontje's aunt's garden:
