London Design Festival starts today

From today, Sept. 17 to 25, it will celebrate its ninth year and with 180 partners and more than 250 events, the Festival promises to be the biggest and most significant up to now. A glimpse:
The Victoria and Albert museum is offering its first-ever exhibition entirely dedicated to 3D printing in collaboration with Materialise. The exhibition will form part of London Design Week and showcase works by Stephen Jones, Patrick Jouin, Iris van Herpen, and many others.

In its 3rd year - the 'Making' series of exhibitions shows remarkable works in wood for outdoors by a selection of the Unitied Kingdom's leading Designers and Makers - including works by Chaircreative, Andrew Varah, James Verner and Philip Clayden amongst others. These works explore the properties and potential of pieces in wood designed for the outdoor environment.
