A lot of publications try to predict what will be the 2007 trends for interiors, but there is one thing that I like most: we finally realize that the feel of vacation can be incorporated into our everyday lives. In our nervous and stressful environmet the best help we can get for feeling better at home is to create there a 'cottage comfort'.

The desire for the relaxed but ultra-stylish cottage look has taken off. Even
the trendiest pieds-a-terre in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles are starting to
take on a "lake retreat" attitude as people realize that they can incorporate
the feel of vacation into their everyday lives
