The "LACE" Trend as a Fusion

The 'lace' trend continues to be the order of the day: a table and chairs made of fibreglass and lace by the Danish company GAMplusFRATESI shown at “inspired by Cologne” IMM Cologne (16-22.01.2006), are just the next home furnishing to prove it. Combining "high performance composite materials, as glasfiber, and the aesthetics from the antique art of lace", they are an excellent example of my favourate fusion style.

Philippe Starck Conceives a New Icon For Emeco

Another new product to be launched at the Milan Fair - "Icon" by Philip Stark for Emeco. One of its important features is recyclability - it is produced from 80% recycled aluminium.
As its name suggests, it is expected to become the next design icon. Who knows?

1st New Products for Milan 2006

"Curva" is one of the first new products that appear as a forerunner of the coming in a couple of months Milano Salone del Mobile 2006. It is a sofa collection by Jacob Pringiers for BRF and as its name suggests it has a specific form that makes the sofa seem to float above the floor.
