Fabulous Wood

Wood is my favourite material - especially for interiors. I like its soft touch and warmth and always look for possibilities to use it in my work as interior designer. Today I found a new form of wood that is modern and elegant and suitable for bathrooms, too! I saw it at PlayMeDesign where I was first impressed with the beautiful styling of the interiors.

Fabulous is a series of flooring and panel products from  Moelven.no. The rough surface of Tindra panel (top) is very special - it gives the impression o being fleft out in the weather, but also has a little hint of shimmer that adds a luxurious expression. I like the mellow colour of the bathroom tiles - they are warm and elegant. 

The comfort of LED booklights

I just discovered how comfortable it is to be able to read even when you are away from home in a place where there is no suitable lighting. I am also impressed with the design of the Moleskine LED booklight - rechargeable with a USB connector, designed for reading in all low-light conditions, with its flexible material and clip-on design, it adapts to any hard surface including books, journals and notebooks.
