A garden to dream for!

It is not only the strong pink color that makes this garden so spectacular - it is the whole design! Congratulations for garden designer Stuart Craine - probably this is the best possible makeover of a tricky plot. But this work is also a great answer to a question often asked by owners - why to use a designer?

"The garden is east-facing and surrounded by three-storey terraced houses. When Craine was called in, it was dark and damp, with shallow, dilapidated brick steps, slimy with growth, that spanned the width of the space in an unrelenting climb to 2m above base. The view from inside must have been grim.
"The key was in making the garden relate to the interior, maximising the space, while managing the level change so it didn't eat up half the garden," Craine says. The house was in the process of being renovated, so he was able to liaise with the builders,..."
This is an excerpt  from the article in Guardian and it shows the advantages that a professional designer service can provide, both in garden design and in interior design. Enjoy!

Interior Design Ideas from Best Hotels

Luxurious bedroom with a bath tub in the center - the idea is from Soho House Berlin, one of the latest openings of the chic members' club group. It is in a late-Bauhaus building that has housed both a department store and the East German Communist Party.

I like very much this cozy, elegant and very modern dining corner - I great idea to borrow for your home.
Another inspiring source is the new luxury hotel with interior design by Patricia Urquiola - Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, furnished mostly with her own design furniture, accessories and lighting.

A new trend - special wine-tasting spaces

is becoming very popular: instead of shivering in the cool wine-cellar, now owners and their guests prefer to taste collector's wines in specially dedicated area with inviting atmosphere and stylish design. Above, cellar designer Ben Benoit suggested that his Bel Air client install his 1,200 bottles in the living room. The two flanking armoires hold 350 bottles each. Hidden venting and wires govern the temperature behind the insulated glass.

Designer Marie Aiello created a special wine-tasting lounge area, warmed by a fireplace.
