Creating furniture and lighting from Mushroom Mycelium

Petr Krejci Photography

Bulgarian designer and researcher Ninela Ivanova and British deigner Sebastian Cox have teamed to create something quite unusual - lightweight, compostable stools and lights made from green-wood waste bound together with mycelium fungus. Their project Mycelium + Timber can be seen at Somerset House  as part of Design Frontiers exhibition during London Design Festival 2017.

Beautiful Designer Glass for Your Home

The purity of hand-crafted glass in an unexpectedly geometric, sharp shape. It is made by carefully mouth-blowing glass into a diamond-shaped steel mold. It is cooled, released and then polished by hand to give each vase stunning sheen and smoothness.
