Yes, that is possible, especially if the building is situated on a site with so rich history and fragments of the Roman city and the Arab city in itself! That is the interesting story of Caro Hotel, Valencia. Originally a palace that was the home of the Marqués de Caro, when the building was being renovated these fragments were discovered and the architect FRANCISCO JURADO JIMÉNEZ and designer FRANCESC RIFÉdecided to incorporate them withing the modern hotel rooms:
