"What is the biggest long-term trend for the future?"

As a blog named Trendoffice it is impossible to miss sharing this interesting post from blogbrevity's posterous.
"What is the biggest long-term trend for the future?" is a question that anyone inerested in trends would ask, but what is important here is the answer by trend expert and curator Cecile Poignant of TrendTablet:
" I would say that to my point of view, one of the very big difference today--and one of the very good, good, good news today--is the idea of shareable economy. I think with the idea that we can have collaboration--this is going to change the whole world. For me, this is something that is one of the major long-term trends in society, it's really this idea of collaboration, of sharing things together, not being obliged to possess something that you can rent, you can share, you can use--websites like Kickstarter, AirBnB. This is an important shift in economy, and in the way people behave, and the way people will do things in the future. Collaboration and sharing are really important value for the future."
Shareable economy! How good it sounds, but how realistic it is?

Light in the Context of Fashion

Fashion and interior design have a lot in common and most often the connection is through textile. Similar is the case with the exhibition Light in the Context of Fashion,  part of the events of Sofia Design WEEK 2012.  Farolla Ltd. is a company offering custom designed lighting  and is one of the participants in this year's exhibition, presenting exclusive line of lighting fixtures Dresslight.
This year's edition of SDEW is "In context". The team of Farolla liked it because the primary  goal of the designers behind the project DressLight is precisely to provide light in the context of fashion. In collaboration with the National Academy of Arts - Sofia,
Farolla announced a contest for the students from the "Fashion" specialty to recreate their ideas and models using the unique fabrics of  Farolla. The contest was sponsored by the company and the topic was "Light in the context of fashion". The winners are participating in the exhibition entitled "The Light in the context of fashion" in the showroom of Dresslight - the Bulgarian representative of Farolla Ltd.
