“Blow Up” is a series of swinging
lamps reminiscent of great big drops
of mercury with a chrome, gold,
black or white surface.
Domus compares them with "flying saucers from 1970s’ science fiction", but for me Blow-Up hanging lamps seem elegant and modern with their soft and ethereal design. They are light and airy, floating in
their space, and when they are lit
part of their surface becomes
transparent, emitting a beam of light
to illuminate the area below.
Ø 70 cm, 100 cm, 140 cm, 180 cm
