What I Learned in D-school

Interesting and useful article, especially for beginners in the field of design, posted by David Armano in his blog Logic+Emotion:
"For every Ying, there needs to be a Yang. A while back, Design Observer re-printed, “The Top 10 Things They Never Taught Me in Design School.” by New York-based architect Michael McDonough. It’s a great read and all too true—sadly schools of any type don’t often prepare us for the real world. But what about the things we DO learn in D-school (Design School)?"
And posting it as counterbalance to the Michael McDonough article makes it a good addition to a great virtual internet discussion about design learning.
Both of these authors share personal insights and practical experiences that can be a valuable help to many of us even if not beginners in the field of design practice. I found to have experienced most of them, too.
