THE BUMP FAMILY

"We present our latest extraordinary accessories launching at Maison & Objet Paris, September 2017. With our new collection we explore the fusing of various basic elements in tough and hygienic borosilicate glass.... vessels designed to serve as the ritualistic instruments of every day drinking and hosting. Beautiful design from Maison et Objet 2017

I am fascinated with the work of designer  Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, again:

 ‘Folia’ collection, as designboom writes, is "a celebration of the radiance of crystal and the strength of wood". The designer  Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance explains that ‘the cut of the folia crystal is inspired by a leaf that can tessellate to infinity or fly onto the crystal, as though a wind of folly was blowing.’

Maison & Objet Starts Today

MAISON&OBJET trade show starts today. It has three major sections, including two new spaces dedicated to textiles. MAISON is interior decoration. OBJET is concept and retail, while the third section INFLUENCES encompasses luxury, design and architecture. 
So, again it is all about texture - oversized meshes, weaving, 3D textiles fill the show:

A lot of luxury:
Petrified wooden coffee tables by XYLEIA NATURAL INTERIORS 

The robust petrified wood slabs from Indonesia, Arizona and Madagascar are cut from large trees that lived 20 million years ago.

Tree Branches bench handcrafted in brass with a hammered technique similar to the irregular details of real branches with top in Mongolian fits both modern and rustic interiors, also available in brushed brass, copper or steel finish.

MAISON&OBJET is coming in a few weeks - January 20-24-2017 - with many new and interesting products and ideas. Lets's have a look at some of them. Completely in the mood of the popular Copper trend, we are going to see a rich collection wall- and floor-coverings glittering softly in the warm rose copper hue:
