Interior Design Ideas and Inspiration by Studio TemZaDesign

Bespoke furniture design makes perfect use of space:

and awkward architectural elements like this column in a beautiful seaside apartment:

I like neutral palette, but to avoid dull interior design solutions I like to use at least one bright accent like these beautiful tiles in a definitely man-style kitchen:

I like the way they connect with the bright streaks in the countertop:

Customization is important part of my work as owner of Studio TemZaDesign. My aim always is to create interiors tailored to client lifestyle and budget. Like this small apartment design with beautiful details and smart space optimization:

Kitchen Trends

According to a post in Freshome,

"These days, two-toned kitchen cabinets are the look everyone seems to be clamoring over".

And they give a set of good-looking examples, one of which is with a similar to the Pantone's shade of  purple paint on the lower cupboards:

Reading this post I realized that most of my kitchen projects are exactly two-toned:

So, I don't think this can be considered a new trend, but still, like the idea to use two toned cabinets and make the kitchen more interesting.

What do you think?

I plan to post more about kitchen trends, especially when we get nearer to the coming Milan Design Week in April, where kitchens and bathrooms are going to be basic themes.

Bright airy kitchen to dream for

I was fascinated when I first saw it - this kitchen is so calm and inviting, so light and airy! A great designer solution - combining light, colour, glass with floating shelves and tender light green shade along with the wood makes it so fresh! And comfortable, too - notice the two sinks. One is near the stove for easy cooking.

I have always liked the free-standing furniture solutions for kitchens, but what we have here is also a very creative approach to use of tiles, materials and colours, too. The beautiful patterns of NEMO tiles definitely add to the charm of the overall design.

Colour-blocking is another simple way of creating interest in your interior.

Cersaie 2013

Cersaie, one of the top tile and fixture trade shows in the world started on Sept. 23rd and runs until tomorrow. Let's have a look at some of the impressive new designs presented.

It seems that there is a focus on luxury and soft organic forms - look at some of the images from their gallery:

The kitchen is changing its traditional design

Dishwasher raises above the worktop - Indesit's Aqualift redesigns the washing-up zone with an integrated dishwasher and sink, thus eliminating the need to bend down to use the dishwasher and liberates considerable space under the worktop.

Fluid spaces in contemporary interiors require that kitchen blends better with living room and dining room. 'Repeat’ kitchen system, design by Danilo Radice and produced by Elam is part of a multifunctional modular storage system for any room of the house and these cupboards, shelves and drawers fit comfortably in the modern kitchen. With lacquer and wood finishes to mix and match, they are particularly suitable for an open plan space where cooking and living areas blend. Open-fronted units can be arranged as desired and Repeat modules can be alternated with storage units and domestic appliances, plasma screens and enclosed units.
