"The idea of contemporary living"

Contemporary design has a lot of creations that give us joy and inspiration, in addition to the obligatory comfort. If you are looking for something different from traditional forms and designs, such that can better create your individual style, have a look at my collection of home products that I find quite inspiring and would be happy to use in my interior design projects:

I am impressed with these new options for the kitchen - Hi-tech material composed of two sheets of alluminium bonded with an extruded polyethylene core and treated with a special protective matt finish catalyzed in a kiln:

Unexpected design Solutions

They  can be a result of lack of other possibilities or a genius solution of a problem, a beautiful use of material for unexpected purpose, etc. Still, they are a great inspiration and can create unique interiors. Enjoy and share your thoughts:

TRENDALERT: Have you heard of CARDENING?

It appears to be one of some unconventional emerging trends, probably a logical development of our increased need to be in contact with nature. Plant enthusiasts are now creating mini-gardens in suitable spots in their cars:

I don't know how practical is this even in a safe place, but for sure it is better than the air fresheners we see in so many cars. And also, plants are known to purify the air and absorb harmful toxins. Mint, for example, is an instant freshener.

How do you like the idea?

This trend is part of a major trend in interior design that aims to restore the connection of man from the big city with nature.

Staircase Inspiration

Stairs in the interior design solutions is a challinging problem. They always take a lot of the space and are too bulky as a presence. To makeclever use of space under stairs or to figure out how to 'hide' them is not an easy task. Get some inspiration from the ideas below:

A Lamp that sings "Happy Birthday"

We already know how much Marcel Wanders likes magic in design - we can see it in many of his projects. With Bella the magic of lighting he combines with the magic of music :)

The Bella Lamp by Marcel Wanders in collaboration with Alessandro Mendini for Ramun

With just the touch of its cap, Bella comes to life offering ten different classic melodies by Bach, Chopin, Puccini, Pachelbel, as well as a 'Happy Birthday' song!

Marcel Wanders was looking for the magic in lighting in his new project for LLadro presented during the last Salone del Mobile in April 2019.

A Christmas Tree - Without a Tree

If you want to have the holiday spirit at home, but have no real tree, there are a lot of other possibilities - just use your imagination:
