56th Salone del Mobile - contemporary luxury

The first post I am writing after visiting Milan is about contemporary luxury - I am pleased to find that the concept of contemporary luxury is based on good design, quality materials and comfort. Elegant curves, luxurious quality materials and well-thought design create the impression of a desire for a more restrained style that is based on elegant classic forms, away from minimalism, but also without useless decorations.A lot of natural wood, natural stones, velvets and leather:
“Kite” by Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi for Porro (source Stylepark)
de Sede

Audrey sofa by Massimo Castagna for Gallotti&Radice

The Belt Chair designed by Atelier Oï

“Agave” by Mattia Albicini for Ethimo
More posts will follow - check regularly! Also, I am available for detailed reports on Milan Design Week 2017 - email me!
